IMPROBABLE COLLABORATOR

Recetas Urbanas (Santiago Cirugeda and co.): Recetas Urbanas develops subversive projects in various urban reality areas to help deal with the complications of social life. From the systematic occupation of public spaces with containers to the construction of prostheses on façades, in courtyards, on roofs and even in building sites. It is currently working in conjunction with various teams and continues to negotiate between government authorities and citizens.

PROPOSAL

Based on Recetas Urbanas experience in issues of collective self-construction and the drafting of graphic safety studies, the proposal was made to Tesysal to carry out some studies for small works made by citizens.

 

RESULT

The uncertainty generated by current regulations on occupational risks, which do not incorporate the procedures of self-construction, has created concern and diffuse liability for individuals involved in construction. Hence, the need to promote a regulation to order this activity, which has currently been forgotten in Europe.
