AuzoLabs
A total of 23 organisations from Navarra answered the call that was made in January 2020 by the newly created Antartika Kultur Container in order to participate in one of the three AuzoLabs to be conducted by using the open, collaborative innovation methodology of Conexiones improbables and whose challenge had to be linked to the social, environmental, educational or cultural field.
In addition, fifteen people from the artistic and/or creative sector, mostly residents of Navarra, were invited to present a preliminary project for one or two challenges. The three artists, to be defined as “Improbable Collaborators” during the AuzoLabs, will work across five sessions to obtain results for the challenges posed by using their applied creative methodology. Alongside these five co-creation sessions, the hybridisation programme also includes an initial Methodology Session and Presentation of Results Day, the latter of which is open to the general public and will be held in Pamplona.
The resulting pairs are:
OPEN TRAINING FOR ARTIST
We have also already held a training day for artists at the Huarte Contemporary Art Centre in Navarra so that they can intervene in non-artistic contexts, an event that attracted some fifteen people aiming to take their artistic practices beyond the usual fields.
This course aims to respond to a twofold reality:
Three of the people attending the theoretical session were selected to complete their training in a practical manner under the tutorship of the Improbable Collaborators in the AuzoLabs.
METHODOLOGY SESSION
The Huarte Centre was also the venue for a Methodology Session with the participation of the organisations selected to conduct the AuzoLabs, in addition to the three Improbable Collaborators, the artists undergoing training and the people in the Txaritopean Association and Conexiones improbables team.
The first contact among all the parties in the AuzoLabs was made and the methodology dynamics of Conexiones improbables were applied to kick-start the co-creations to be conducted until November, when the Presentation of Results Day will take place in Pamplona.
