The main challenge as defined by the organisation was “to develop the level of skills and know-how of the various people in the organisation in order to empower these professionals by defining a new care strategy”. The specific challenge to be addressed in the Creative Pill is as follows: “How to set up a team with the service’s various professionals and establish collaborations among different levels”.

The project has been carried out with a Steering Group made up of staff from OSI Araba’s Radio Diagnostic and Nursing Services, a Broad Group comprising workers from various departments, categories and levels of the organisation, and a Work Group participating in the Creative Pill.
The process began with two Steering Group working sessions that analysed the past and present situation of the services, as well as jointly considering how to identify future challenges and needs. All this resulted in three challenges that broadly focused on addressing communication improvements within the organisation, in the establishment of a common system for identifying the services’ needs and solutions, and work on the attitudinal and motivational aspects of the team. The Broad Group prioritised a single challenge in order to work on a Creative Pill during a third session. This Pill is currently underway with a group of volunteers from the Broad Group.
