BIC Bizkaia (a public business incubator), at the instigation of Beaz (a Bizkaia Provincial Council Public Company).
CHALLENGE
The workshop had a twofold objective in mind: on the one hand, to consider briefly the Individual Innovation Path of each person belonging to the organisations participating in the workshop and, on the other hand, to create a collective path that could serve each company to suggest collaboration possibilities with other companies either in or out of the same sector.
PARTICIPANTS
Businesses located in this incubator, with some dedicated to engineering and others to biotechnological research.
DEVELOPEMENT
The 8-hour workshop was held over two different days that were spaced two weeks apart. The aim was to promote cooperation between companies from the two sectors that work on different floors of the incubator. In order to achieve this, the participants had to acquire a series of basic concepts that are essential for working on cooperation projects, while at the same time bringing about a change of mentality that may help organisations to innovate in collaboration and collaborate in innovation.
Each of the workshop participants created his or her own Individual Innovation Path for their organisation. It was developed over various stages during which they worked on basic concepts that should serve to construct a narrative that would lead to, in principle, individual action and to later identify opportunities for collaboration between different companies and sectors.
