CHALLENGE
To promote the company in local women’s associations and convey to them the spirit of Curves gyms, not only are they about physical exercise and diet, but also offer a lot more, assuming a key role in social relations through cooking workshops, dance classes, member dinners, etc., thus encouraging relationships between women using the gym.
PROPOSAL
1. Begin by proposing a discussion about the challenge presented by the company, thereby developing the internal capacity of the group of workers to better define the services on offer (implementation).
2. Approach the proposals and experiences gathered in other contexts (other similar places, other businesses) to obtain required visibility in the specific social context surrounding Curves gyms in Irun.
3. Transfer gym practice to the public arena in order to show potential users the vital need to practise it daily, as well as all of its benefits.
RESULT
To look for a dialogue between Curves, women gymnasium and local associations of women, a dialog was organized and reference activities were consulted, having the clear will of transferring the experience of the company to the public space.
