ORGANISATION

Osakidetza Comarca Bilbao. The Bilbao region (Bilboko Eskualdea, BiE) is one of the service organisations making up the Basque Health Service (Osakidetza). Its scope is to provide public primary health care to citizens in Bilbao and Alonsotegi and the total population served by BiE to July 2008 was 382,736 inhabitants.



CHALLENGE

Osakidetza-Bilbo Eskualdea eta Colaborabora-ren arteko lankidetzak jarraipena eman nahi izan dio “Honek bizipoza ematen dit: osasun-ohiturak eta ongizatea berrasmatzen Bilbon” izeneko proiektuari. Ikerketa / Parte-hartze / Ekintza proiektuak bilbotarrek adierazitako kezkak eta proposamenak bildu zituen aurrez.

IMPROBABLE COLLABORATOR

ColaBoraBora, an initiative cooperative, explores new opportunities for innovation in production models, governance and ownership and analyses the empowerment and participation of citizens, among other issues.

RESULTS

Using practical tools for researching and surveying, organising and prototyping, the process ended with the design of two actions to undertake in regional health centres: promoting healthy eating in bars and restaurants and physical exercise through the convenient use of exercise circuits in parks.
