Workshop “Cooperate to Innovate; Innovate to Act”
“Cooperating implies an asymmetrical effort”
The Citizens Open School of Vitoria-Gasteiz, a meeting and training space aimed at fostering participatory culture, organised a Citizen Participation Conference entitled “De la palabra a la acción” (From Words to Action) on 13 February. The event included an interesting programme that consisted of the participation of an expert in social entrepreneurship and citizen innovation, Antonella Broglia, as well as Rosa Jiménez (La Escalera Project), Stéphane M. Grueso (Maldita.es) and Iñaki Martín and José Luis Otxoa (Arabako Pentsionistak Lanean).
Conexiones improbables presented its “Cooperate to Innovate; Innovate to Act” Workshop as part of the proceedings. The workshop was led by Roberto Gómez de la Iglesia and its aim was to lay some foundations for reflection about open, collaborative innovation geared towards building collective projects from individual perspectives.
