A series of collaborations between seven companies and organisations on Tenerife with seven artists and/or creators was recently completed in order to promote innovation in the island’s tourism sector by incorporating creativity.
The TenerifeLab programme also included a training programme for artists and creators from the Canary Islands aimed at developing artistic interventions in organisations. The programme comprised two distinct parts. The first involved a theoretical session for 15 people presented by Roberto Gómez de la Iglesia, Arantxa Mendiharat (director and coordinator of Conexiones improbables respectively) and Albert Soler, an artist who specialises in these types of artistic interventions in companies. Following the session, 14 of these artists and creators participated in a traineeship programme accompanying the seven artists undertaking the TenerifeLab Creative Pills.
