Woco Técnica S.A. is a German parent company dedicated to the production of rubber components for the automotive sector.

CHALLENGE

To design and prototype a system for the participation of the people working in the company aimed at ongoing improvement and innovation.

IMPROBABLE COLLABORATOR

Mikel Morlas. With a multidisciplinary academic profile (human resource management, art and education) and a history in various groups in the field of artistic practices, he combines the development of educational and training innovation projects in public and private organisations with his activity as an artist and curator.

MIKEL MORLAS' PROPOSAL

The artist has proposed starting from the metaphor of the spirit line so that the collaboration should begin by looking for traces of subjectivity in the people working in Woco in the organisation’s processes and products. With this, work would be done on empathy and trust. A process of co-design would almost simultaneously be initiated in which the company’s workers would be involved in order to create the participation device for ongoing improvement and innovation, whose aim would be to achieve various degrees of empowerment related to the organisation.
